28 players head to Tegernsee


Borussia will take 28 players to their training camp in Rottach-Egern on Monday, with the first training session taking place there in the afternoon.

Borussia have only been back in pre-season training for two weeks, but have already played two friendlies as well as the Telekom Cup. Now it's time for the next stage of the preparation process for Dieter Hecking's side as they head to Rottach-Egern in Bavaria for a summer training camp. This will be the sixth time that the Fohlenelf are heading to this location on the Tegernsee for pre-season.

28 players head to Rottach-Egern

The Fohlenelf will head to Rottach with 28 players. Four from the first team will be absent. Timothée Kolodziejczak picked up a strain in his thigh last Wednesday in the friendly against KAS Eupen. He will return to BORUSSIA-PARK for some rehabilitative work. Josip Drmic is also currently in regenerative training due to his knee injury. Captain Lars Stindl and Matthias Ginter, who had still been on holiday due to their participation in the Confed Cup in Russia, will join up with the squad after the training camp.

Friendly against 1. FC Nürnberg

The team will travel to Nürnbert from their training camp on Saturday evening, where they will they play 1. FC Nürnberg in a friendly on Sunday at 14:30 CEST.
